This is because I have experienced it and it taught me to do what I had to do without fear. My boss is the kind who leaves you to do your thing and only report to him for approval or guidance. I used to seek counsel from colleagues who would discourage me not to go to the boss with new ideas. When I decided to try it once the boss was so pleased and from then on I never fear to ask him or present new ideas. This has put me at loggerheads with some of my colleagues.
